Community and Philanthropy Partnership Week 2015
To celebrate Community and Philanthropy Partnership Week 2015, the Inner North Community Foundation launched a short video profiling the experiences of local Year 10 students involved in the Young Changemakers program.
Over the last 6 months, year 10 students at Northcote High School and Collingwood College took part in the Young Changemakers program. The program, initiated by the Inner North Community Foundation and funded by the Clifton Hill / North Fitzroy Community Bank Branch of Bendigo Bank, inspires young leaders to use energy and creativity to become community leaders in the community they live, and will one day work.
To launch the five minute documentary, students from Northcote High School hired the Westgarth Cinema, where 75 friends, family, donors, grantees and supporters came together to watch a film about young people reflecting on philanthropy. Youthworx Productions, a local social enterprise, made the film.
