2019 Board Associate Program
Can you recommend a local leader?
The Inner North Community Foundation is an independent philanthropic entity for Melbourne’s Inner North. We fund projects that support people into work, while building a perpetual resource for our community. People involved with the Foundation are experienced local leaders who are passionate about creating a more prosperous, connected and cohesive region.
Board Associate Program
If you – or someone you know – are passionate are enthusiastic about leading community philanthropy, the Foundation seeks applications from committed people with strong local networks and an enthusiasm to learn about good governance for its third Board Associate program.
This program is a way of engaging some people with the work of the Foundation, and increasing diversity of perspectives around the board. The 2019 program will run from January to December 2019, with Board Associates participating in committees, learning leadership through governance, and contributing to the Foundation’s role in local community.
The Inner North Community Foundation is committed to equal opportunity, and to engaging people of all ages and cultural backgrounds. To ensure that the Board is broadly representative of the community the Board is keen to attract applications from women, people under 40 years of age and people from diverse cultural backgrounds. Board Associates are volunteer roles.
Further detail about the role, including how to apply, is found here.
