2019 Pathways to Employment Grants

The Inner North Community Foundation today announced community grants to 22 charitable organisations which focus on helping disadvantaged people in Melbourne’s inner north through the Foundation’s 2017 Pathways to Employment grants program.

The Grants Assessment Panel this year consisted of Foundation directors Sylvia Admans (Chair), Kevin Neville, Carolyn Phiddian and Julie Beckers who were joined by current board associates Shea Evans, Caroline Doherty, Jigna Desai and Michala Stenzel.

Panel members reviewed all applications and ranked each application against five criteria and completed an online evaluation form for each application, which assisted with filtering the applications to identify the recommended grants.

This year:

  • There were 30 applications with a total ask of $697,605.
  • Of the 30 applicants, 14 applicant organisations have never been funded by the Foundation previously, and we’re proud to be funding just under half of them

The panel thanked all applications for their work, and look forward to seeing how the 2019 recipients will turn our money into community value.

Full detail on grant recipients can be found in the 2019 Grant Booklet.
