Pathways to Employment Fund
Our Pathways to Employment Grant Program closes on 31 May!
The program funds projects that improve the job prospects of disadvantaged local people in Melbourne’s inner northern suburbs.
Since our inception in 2007, the Inner North Community Foundation has distributed over $789,766 in funding to 54 community programs working to create greater access to employment for local people.

Stories
Our grants influence many people's lives. Here are some testimonials that we've received over the years from participants of funded programs, community organisations, and donors:
"It has been wonderful to have an organization such as the Inner North Community Foundation to kick-start a program that encourages professional networks and workplace learning." Lisa Greenwood, Project Coordinator of the Breaking Down Barriers program at Fitzroy Learning Network.
"To work has been a good experience. I have been talking with parents and caring for the children. I feel good and happy. I have the chance to do more things." Shamira (pictured below), participant of the Breaking Down Barriers program at Fitzroy Learning Network.

"It's so important for young women to have their own job and financial independence. These girls have no idea what's out there for them and that's why this project is so great." Jan Elliott (pictured below on the left), mentor for the Young Women's Leadership Program at INLLEN.
"Taking part in this project has helped me see the journey to employment. I've met people I wouldn't have outside the program and made some great connections." Hope (pictured below on the right), participant of the Young Women's Leadership Program at INLLEN.

“I donate because I know the very direct and meaningful way that the Foundation bridges the gap between unemployment and meaningful work for local people in our community” Craig Kenny, Director of Community Programs at Yarra City Council
"A job can bring dignity, purpose and an important start in life for every young person in our community - that's why I donate." Glenyys Romanes
"I earn I donate, however small because giving matters to me. To give is a human want. To do service is a human need." Sharyn Y
