INLLEN is an independent not for profit organisation. They work with education providers on a range of partnership projects that work towards improving the effective transitions of young people from school to further education, training and or employment.

INLLEN's focus is on supporting and working in low socioeconomic areas in our region with a focus on young people at risk of disengaging from education orthose who have already disengaged.

The Young Women's Leadership Program is a capacity building program targeting 16 young women (15-18 years of age) from Indigenous, low socio-economic status, and culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds with an emphasis on building their social capital and access to local network opportunities.

The young women are matched to a female mentor, who supports them through a 20 week program as they unpack their interests, goals, career and life aspirations.

The leadership program involves a series of informative and inspiring workshops, workplace visits, guest speakers, 1 on 1 mentoring, and culminates in a leadership event where participants deliver a presentation showcasing their learnings and their future employment and education plans.
