Inner North Community
Covid-19 Fund

People in our suburbs are in trouble, and it will get worse as this crisis unfolds.

It’s a confusing time for all of us. We know that this crisis will have lasting effects, not just on our health but also livelihoods within our community. Many of us want to help but don’t know how.

You live here, you work here, and you can help here. The Inner North Community Covid-19 Fund is doing something about it – and so can you! The fund set up by the Inner North Community Foundation enables you to do something to support your community through these tough times.

Make sure that the most vulnerable people in Darebin, Moreland and Yarra get help. Giving will soften the impacts of Covid-19 already hitting many in our community. Your donation will enable:

  • Emergency relief vouchers for families to buy essentials from local traders.
  • Rapid Response grants for not for profit community groups to respond in flexible and creative ways.
  • Pathways to Employment projects that support people in our community impacted by Covid-19.

We're exploring other ways to fund projects designed to lift our spirits and show what we can do together.

The people in need are our neighbours and we can help them. Let’s all act NOW and do something about the impacts of Covid-19.

Our community made us.
We make our community.

The Foundation was established in 2007 and over the last 12 years over $4.7 million has been granted to local charities.  We manage over $6.5 million from generous locals who have given to support their local community.

The Foundation is an independent charity governed by local volunteers. Our directors are skilled and experienced people with connections to the North that take their role as managers of a local asset seriously. We’ve been around for 12 years, and plan to be around for at least another 120 years.

Our promise to you

The Foundation provides a simple way for your generosity to go further in impacting the things you care about most. We're a platform for local philanthropy and a safe pair of hands for community money.

Thanks for seeing yourself in our story, and the story of this community. It's what makes our place great.
