What knowledge should communities preserve for future generations in the inner north?
That’s the question at the heart of Bakers Dozen Social Justice Fund Community Change Exchange pilot program, which brought together seven organisations from across Melbourne’s inner north to develops artefacts grounded in social justice and cultural leadership.
Supported by the Baker’s Dozen Social Justice Fund, the program brought participants together for a series of workshops between 2025 and 2026. The resulting artefacts included artworks, publications, resources and recordings reflecting the voices and values that shape Melbourne’s inner north. You can read more about it here and check out the artefacts that each of the participating organisations worked on below.
We’ve just kicked off the 2026/27 Community Change Exchange program, and can’t wait to see what emerges from this new group of community leaders.
