CERES Fund

CERES Fund

CERES is an environmental education centre, community garden, urban farm and social enterprise hub spread across four locations, linked by the Merri and Darebin Creeks on Wurundjeri Country, Melbourne.

The CERES Fund supports our dedication to Melbourne’s Inner North to ensure we continue to collectively teach and build healthy ecosystems, resilient communities, regenerative food systems and local well-being economies for a sustainable future.

Your support of the CERES Fund at the Inner North Community Foundation will help create a lasting legacy with real impact for generations to come.

About this fund

The CERES Fund at the Inner North Community Foundation provides a simple and cost-effective way to help ensure CERES continues to have impact through local, practical and community-based action toward positive change.

Through the Inner North Community Foundation’s model, donations of all sizes are pooled in order to grow a perpetual investment that supports CERES to make a difference to the lives of people in our local communities.

How it works:

  • Money is invested ethically and with a view to protect and preserve a capital base, that generates a grant to support CERES each and every year.
  • Gifts of all sizes are encouraged and valued, and a key way to support is considering a gift in your will.
  • Once you’ve made provisions for your loved ones, we invite you leave a gift in your Will, also known as a bequest, to CERES as a way to create a lasting legacy with real impact for many years into the future.

If you are interested in understanding how a simple act of generosity can have longstanding impact, please contact either Cinnamon Evans CEO of CERES or Ben Rodgers, Executive Officer of the Inner North Community Foundation.
